NOLAN - The 12th annual Nolan Reunion will be held this weekend, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 3-4, at the Muncy Stage beside the Nolan, W.Va., railroad crossing.

Nolan area native Judy Haney will once again help with the music. Haney said Gary Shipley from Arkansas, who has played at Branson, Missouri, will also perform. Haney also has a band from Virginia, the Muddy Hollow Band.

"We will also let some of the locals perform, too," Haney said.

"I love coming back home," said Haney, who now lives in South Carolina. "My heart is back in Big Creek, Ky., and in Nolan."

The music starts at 6 p.m. and will run until midnight both nights.

On Saturday, there will be a car show. Registration starts at 10 a.m.

There will also be vendors set up, and people are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. They are also reminded to not block the main street and to try to park in areas that will not disrupt traffic flow.
